Buccleuch Property has concluded a letting of 3 Market Place in Ely to fashion retailer White Stuff.
The retail premises form part of The Cloisters Shopping Centre which is anchored by Waitrose and a 300 space car park.
3 Market Place extends to approx. 4,100 sq ft which is arranged over ground and first floor and was let on a 10-year lease by BC Retail acting for Buccleuch Property, at a commencing rental of £52,500 pax.
The opening of this unit will be White Stuff’s 100th shop and will feature the retailer’s full range of clothing, footwear, accessories and homewares. The shop’s fixtures and fittings include original vintage wallpapers, as well as locally sourced antique furniture.
Coffee retailer Starbucks has taken a 10-year lease on Unit L in The Cloisters scheme, which has formerly been occupied by Carringtons Café. This letting will see The Cloisters return to being fully let.
Commenting on the recent lettings, Philip Eves, Director at Buccleuch Property said, “The quality of the Market Place and Cloisters offering is clear to see from the high calibre of high street brands interested in having a presence within this retail destination. We’re very pleased with the development and have recently concluded lease renewals with Wilkinsons, Mountain Warehouse and Card Factory.”
